5Work great! Have Multiple Uses!Mar 14, 2012
By BeckwithTech
Purchased these to use on the chips of 3 network cards in a Linux firewall. The cards were being worked so hard the chips were getting upto 156 degrees with an idle temp of 140 degrees. No room in the small case for a fan to blow on the cards. Put 2 of these on each chip and the temps went down to 135 degrees under load and 120 degrees at idle. They work great! And the thermal tape doesn't melt and let the heatsink slide off the chip at those temps like another brand I tried.

5Great for your Xbox 360!Jan 17, 2012
By Isi Jr.
I purchased the Zalman Ram heatsinks to lower the ram temp of my xbox 360. Before this installation my ram temp was at 160F and after my temperature dropped to about 132F. That was a significant drop in temperature. These ram heatsinks are definitely worth every dollar! I also got them very fast! Thanks!

4sticks well and worksDec 23, 2010

used not for video card ram but to cool some of the chips on the circuit board of a Belkin router that seemed very hot to the touch...this, along with drilling some additional cooling holes on the top of the case really seemed to do the trick for keeping the router more stable and quit dropping connections. these were light and inexpensive and just the right size. also worked well to cool the chip on a usb netgear g wifi stick that was seeming to overheat too.....well it didn't look pretty after i removed the housing but at least worked and didn't fry(unlike another one just like it that overheated while downloading 600 plus mb linux ISOs). don't know why the makers of these devices don't design for adequate cooling.

5Perfect and suprisingly lightAug 08, 2010
By BENMESSAOUD "Fishing Fan"
Bought this product with the Accelero S1 Rev2 on my 8800GT as the product does not include enough heatsinks for the voltage regulators, but instead of using the Accelero ones for the memory, I have used the Zalman considering that they seem to have better quality and thermal tape sticks better.

So far so good since around 3 weeks, works perfectly.

Would recommend it especially for $10

4Red Ring of Death FixApr 06, 2012
By aPrimeShopper747
Looks like they work great! I'm using these heat sinks for my Xbox 360 after having repaired a red ring of death. So far everything seems to be working just fine now. To fix my red ring of death are used these heat sinks, the penny trick, and the Q-tip trick.
