Zalman Super Thermal Grease ZM-STG1

Application Instructions:
1. Clear off particles or residue from the contact surfaces of the heat source and heatsink.
2. Shake well then apply on the contact surfaces of the heat source and heatsink.
3. Install the heatsink.
* After application, approximately 7 days of regular computer use will give optimal performance.
Notes:
1. Please keep the bottle cap tightly closed during the storage.
2. Use only as thermal grease. Keep out of the reach of children.
3. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
4. Do not ingest or put into mouth. If ingested, get medical attention.

 HORRORRRRRRRRRRR Aaaahhhhhhhh !!!!Aug 25, 2010
Yo tenía un excelente y robusto overclocking de 3.8GHZ en un procesador INTEL Q9550 @ 2.8Ghz.
Pero como use una pasta barata antes, pues pense que con esta pasta de renombre (ZALMAN) la cosa mejoraría... GRAVE ERROR !!!. El aplicador fue lo único bueno que me quedo. El resto fue una pasta muy poco viscosa que se resbala y no se asienta y a la hora de probar la estabilidad (Prime 95, OCCT e IBT.V2) un desastre total !!!!. Luego de 2 intentos, tuve que bajar todo de nuevo y aplicar más pasta de la original (la barata) y ya recupere mi Q9550 a un 3.4GHZ estable.... hasta que me dan ganas de llorar!!!
Ahorita voy a ver si consigo un ARCTIC SILVER 5. Este ZALMAN es una porquería... y no tiene plata ! (eso es mi culpa por no fijarme bien!).

This is the second time I've bought this product for my computer because its a solid performer and one of the best thermal grease applicator. This along with the Corsair H50 Hydro liquid cooler keeps my overclocked i7 860 (3.63) around 40-55 degrees Celsius.

I don't know how this compares performance wise to other thermal grease but the beauty here is the ease of application. Just brush it on and don't worry if the bead you smashed covered well enough like other stuff.

My laptops fans where on a lot, and so I used this thermal paste, and compared it to arctic silver. The fans took forever to come on to cool down the cpu, and thats cause it didn't heat up as fast. The laptop was running smoother, quieter, and better. When the fan did kick on for the cpu it wasn't as loud cause it wasn't working as hard.
With the arctic silver the fans turned on sooner, but where quiet still. Zalman is better, but more expensive for a little amount.
Also lasted me about 2 years. Even in below zero temps. I had the cleaning stuff for the thermal paste on the cpu, and that stuff froze, but zalman still worked. I was going to a customers house, and left the zalman in the car with the thermal compound remover cause I didn't know if I would need it or not.

It's _very_ easy to use and it works just fine. My system is overclocked by 20% and it's stable. For me this means that this grease does its job well.
