Surprisingly, these are not copper-plated. They are solid copper. I clipped a pin to check. That alone makes them the best value I can find here or on newegg in the small heat-sinks category.
I only needed 4 of 8, so decided to deploy them on various southbridge chips to good effect.
The pre-installed stickers make good thermal contact, and they solved my heat problems. They might not have been enough for video card RAM, but they were more than enough for some very toasty little motor drivers (as in previous 'ow, burned myself' toasty).
My only complaint is that in my experience they don't stick particularly well: I brushed one off accidentally.
That can be fixed with thermal compound and/or unmolested operation.
Very useful and versatile, only knock against them might be spurious.

I used these on my motherboards VRM's. They are very sticky and none have fallen off or even had to be adjusted. They get nice and toasty when I stress my PC and that is proof positive they are doing exactly what I need them to. This is a small price to pay for peace of mind on my OC'd PC that originally had no cooling on the VRM's.

these heat sinks are great! the bond underneath them are surprisingly strong, I say this because other website reviews complain saying its too weak.
Well, I can tell you this was NOT the case at all they stick on the chip set REAL good.
all you have to do is peel off the white wax like paper and stick it...easy
as for me i didn't use this for a video card i slapped this on to my xbox360. Its a nice mod looks slick in there
