Great Quality Cable, But 1/2" Too ShortMay 05, 2012
By Jerome Humery These round cables from OKGear are really great in quality!
The all black looks really cool inside the case too, so I ordered replacement cables for all my drives to get that all blacked out look inside my rig.
I did have to take one star away because the cable is simply not 18"!! Really?! OKGear couldn't just manufacture these things with half an inch more cabling?! Talk about being penny wise and pound foolish. For me, this was not a deal breaker since I was using this particular length for the two drives right next to my SATA ports, but be forewarned, these cables are exactly 17.5" from outside edge of connector to outside edge of connector.
If length is not an issue then buy these, you will be happy.
Lastly, I did not find these cables too stiff. They are stiffer than flat cables obviously and cannot be bent on a dime like flat cables, but with a little planning and gentle massaging I was able to easily get these to conform to what I needed. What is definitely nice though is that these round cables can turn in any direction unlike the flat cables.
Cable too shortApr 29, 2012

Cable was supposed to be 18" long, but turned out to be only 15.5" and that turned out to be a problem. Seller was very prompt in shipment and responded to query about the length quickly and made things right. I would readily recommend the supplier, but you may need to rearrange your drives like I did if you are counting on the cable being the right length!

Got these for my new PC build. Found them a bit stiff when it came to cable management. Also found the release clip to be a bit difficult with the SATA ports on my motherboard. Ended up paying a bit more for Bitfenix Alchemy cables. Look better and easier to manage.
Is what is should beApr 08, 2012
By Daniel Good quality cable. It is flexible, no issue there.
The one thing you have to look out for with these cables that have a little metal clip is, if you putting it in a location that is hard to get to, its can be very hard to push in all the way. You will hear a click*, and then you know its locked in. I had a tight space and it was very hard for me to get it to click.
Overall after I got it snapped in, no problems.
good sata III cable, does the jobMar 28, 2012
By Bill I purchased this Sata III cable and it came fast with amazon Prime. Installed it in my new Lenovo K330 I7 processor desktop with a new crucial SSD drive. Windows is now so much faster than the Seagate 2 TB hard drive that is now acting as my secondary drive. The cable is simple and it works. Amazon is great with service.
