5Quietest 92mm Fan I've HeardMar 20, 2006
By Kristina Diy
This is indeed the quietest 92mm fan that I've heard. I currently have one of these mounted externally at the rear exhaust of my HTPC case, and I'm pleased with its performance.

Running at 12v, I can hear it from 10 feet away, but it's reasonably quiet, and not annoying. At 7v, the noise drops dramatically, but it still moves enough air to be useful.

The only negative aspect, to me, is that the fan isn't orange, like its bigger siblings. I like the orange.

Whenever I need a 92mm fan in the future, I'll buy one of these.

5Very SilentMar 16, 2007

I got this fan to cool off my E6400 processor with the Thermalright XP-90 heatsink. I really wanted to keep my PC as quiet as possible and this fan did not disappoint. I can't hear it unless I take the side panel off my Antec P-180 case. And that is at the normal speed of the fan.

5The Quietest, Most Reliable Fans You Can BuyJan 09, 2007
By G. C. Hubner "Bigchris"
I use these to cool the high performance hard drives in a personal video recorder for HDTV. In this application it is imperative to keep some air movement over the hard drives to avoid drive failure from overheating while contributing as little noise as possible to the environment. These fans handle that job very quietly, and if operated at 7 volts instead of the usual 12 volts they move just enough air and do it silently. Highly recommended!

The fan is quiet and effective. The rubber grommets are a nice addition as they decrease vibration. I would recommend this to anyone needing a 92mm
fan who cares about noise.

A fan is a simple thing but this fan is quiet and well built. It's highly rated among "Quiet PC" web sites and I agree.
