Works great! I'm using this with computer fans and a ac/dc converter to adjust the speed of the fans from day to night over my home aquarium. Note: I am not using this near water.

I bought this to operate a 12 volt fan, however, this is for a VERY small fan, so unless you trying to operate something like a computer fan, this won't work.

I purchased one and it dint work out too well but the 2nd one I got was fantastic. I was able to drop my fan RPM to cut down on noise in my cabinet but still have enough airflow. I was also able to keep my 2 120mm fans running off 5 watts. I probably should have bought the whole Cooler Guys setup but this works great also.

The speed control works, but there seems to be a big "dead zone" to where the fans won't control. It may be the fault of the fans, I do not know for sure at this point, but they are some of the higher quality computer fans.

Was able to slow down the fan I added to cool my entertainment system cabinet enough that I can barely hear it, but still keeps things cool.
