I got this item to add a few fans to my computer. Works exactly as expected with a turn knob that can vary the speed of the fans or turn them off. The wires are also wrapped well and look very sharp. Highly recommended

This device is garbage and did not work. Even for 6 bucks, this product felt and looked cheap. On top of that, Customer Service for CoolerGuys suck. I had to haggle for a refund. I had to pay return shipping for a product that didn't work. My advice is to stay away from CoolerGuys products.

Haven't put it into service yet. However, the dial seems to have a good feel to it. Housing is cheap plastic, but mildy durable...like most all computer upgrades.... Wires are covers in an anti-abrasion sleeve.
