these light up an orangey red, not a deep red like i had hoped.. this is nothing like a red LED, so just buyer beware, your buying orange cathodes not red ones

Well built... throw the double sided tape away, and use a bread tie or zip tie. Well worth the price!

These lights are so cool when installed in your tower. They work as pictured, they are bright and have been working well since. Sometimes start out dimmer and go brighter depending how cold your home is kept. Cheap and cool upgrade!

They do actually produce more on an orange than red light, but I expected this based on some other reviews. The ability to switch them off is nice as is the fact that the components are not hard wired together. You could in theory replace one messed up component without the need to replace them all.
