I bought this mouse pad because it nicely matches my Macbook Pro, its aluminum keyboard, and the magic mouse I use. The mouse pad also allows for reasonable tracking (better than the souvenir pad I used before). Unfortunately, every time I move the mouse, it makes a grating sound like I am sanding something. If the constant sound of sanding in your office isn't a problem, then I would highly recommend it. If the constant sound of sanding is a problem, then I would recommend that you buy a different mouse pad.

I bought this mouse pad instead of buying a razer ironclad. I didn't know what to expect at first since it was made in Taiwan, but it ended up being awesome. It is definitely a lot smaller, but since I play games with very high sensitivity, it hasn't been a problem for me. The mouse pad overall has a nice feel and the mouse glides over it very easily. I mainly bought this product for the expected feel and slickness, in which it has surpassed my expectations. It has a nice look too, so I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't need a lot of mouse room and wants a modern looking, quality mouse pad.

I was using a MS Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0 and after about a week the mouse stopped working. I thought I had a mouse problem, low battery or something else. It wouldn't work on the pad or anywhere close to it. I even put my rubberized mouse pad on top of it and it wouldn't work. I happened to have about a 4" high stack of paper about a foot to the right of the mouse, I put the mouse on top of it and saw the cursor move. It worked fine there. Of course it worked fine with a wired mouse on the pad, but not the MS 2.0 mouse.
I am now using it with a Logitech wireless M210 mouse and I also used it with a MS Wireless Mouse 1000. I have had no problems with either of these units. So, it is just the way the MS 2.0 mouse works.
I only bought it because it matches my Lian-Li case, and it does look pretty good.
So, 5 Stars for the quality, and 3 stars for the aggravation = 4 Stars

Be aware that bluetooth mice as well as wireless mice will have considerable lag, if would work at all with this pad. My Logitech Wireless Anywhere Mouse MX has considerable lag on this aluminum pad and Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 4000 had a lag and in a few days stopped working on this pad completely.
