 Floppy bezel installationJan 04, 2011

I have installed this and it looks great. The front plate of the 5.25 to 3.5 mounting adapter has an opening that was not exactly correct for this bezel. I had to do some filing around the corners of the bezel and along the edges of the plate to make things fit. In addition, the drive didn't fit quite right in the mounting holes of the adapter requiring elongating those holes to allow for adjustment. I think this is to be expected given three components from three different manufacturers. Fortunately, I have the tools and some metalworking knowledge to make it work. Now all the plated align properly and and the front panel looks like it was meant to.
