5It did it's jobMar 08, 2012

Needed to replace a fan in a mascot uniform and this worked well. Really happy that it runs pretty quiet as the fan is in the head of the uniform and didn't want it to interfer with the wearing being able to hear, so far everyone has been happy with it.

5Lot of fan for the moneyOct 12, 2011

I usead this to replace the circulating fan on the back of my RV frige. It moves lots of air, and is quiet. It was a LOT cheaper than the "correct" fan. As an electronics engineer, I knew to ignore the yellow wire and use black and red. Good buy.

4Alternate application of fanOct 11, 2010

I had to replace a wine cooler fan, but didn't find the specific fan so I purchased this fan intended for computer case cooling.

The wine cooler fan has 2 leads, this one has 3. In case this fan would not work I had purchased another, 4 times more expensive, which also included a set of computer-power-supply harness connectors. The expensive fan male 3-pin connector "showed" me which pin was NOT used, so I saw which 2 fan leads to use.

I cut the 2 wires from the Evercool fan and connected them to the 2 wires from the wine cooler electronic board fan connector. This way I salvaged the wine cooler connector and insured I had the proper rotation and air flow.

With this $7 purchase I saved an $80 cooler which has maintained a constant 54 degree temperature for almost 2 weeks already. I have another wine cooler and am planning to do the same again if the price of the Evercool fan is not increased. To pay a higher price I could go to my friendly brick and mortar store.

I chose LIKE the fan instead of LOVE it, because it did not come with the exact cabling I needed, but to be fair, if I had wanted to cool a fan case, I could have LOVED it.
