I used this fan to replace my neighbor's fan on his CPU. It was the only one of ti's kind i could find. It worked fine and solved the computer problems of overheating.

Exactly as described and it worked like a champ. It came quickly too. I only had to make sure that the sixe in millimeters was correct and the connectors looked the same.

These smaller CPU fans for older chips are getting harder to find, but not if you rely on Amazon. Fan ordered, fan received in a few days, fan fit perfectly, and now the old CPU is good for another few years. Thank you Amazon, you are Amazing.

Keeps my cpu from overheating.Mar 20, 2010

My stock heatsink fan died so I got this one to replace it. It works fine, no overheating issues.
Its on my stock AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ processor and stock AMD heatsink.
If you need a fan for this processor then this fan is it.
