Perfect for Asus P67 SabertoothJul 09, 2011
By Anthony G Boea Nice and quiet 50mm fan. It's 15mm thickness is great for increased air flow onto the motherboard itself rather than the equivalent 10mm fans.
If you are running an Asus P67 Sabertooth motherboard, and want to use the thermal armor you can't really go wrong with this fan.
Pro: Quiet, fast, excellent air flow Con: None

Works great on my Asus sabertooth p67Jun 13, 2011
By John Barry My expensive 230 MOBO didn't come with this fan and the PCIE card was running far too hot. Thanks ASUS. Well, amazon to the rescue... this has cooled me down to normal levels and my rig is fairly quiet. I wish it was absolutely, completely quiet as I use mine as a DAW but it's very respectable.

Assist Fan for SabertoothFeb 24, 2012
By Maximka Good purchase. I have a fairly quite rig, but not silent (Sabertooth board, Corsair 650D case, Coolermaster 212 Evo CPU fan, SSD, etc.) and was worried by all the forum chatter that these small fans sound like jet engines and have a three day lifespan. Nonsense - they are quiet, easy to install, inexpensive, and work fine. Your alternatives are not to get an assist fan, which is ok, if you are not overclocking, as the fan will only lower your temps by a few degrees, or buy a quiet fan for tripple the price to get marginal (if any) benefits. Most "quiet" fans are just limited to lower RPMs, which does not matter, as Sabertooth will not run this fan at 100% anyway.

Excellent fan for Sabertooth P67 MotherboardOct 24, 2011

Great fan for your ASUS P67 Sabertooth motherboard. I tried several other 50mm fans including the 10mm thick one from EVERCOOL but all of them were either incredibly noisy from the start or started rumbling after about a week. This one is a good 15mm thick and moves some decent air while keeping noise levels at a reasonable level. I keep mine running at 50% speed, at 100% it sounds like a jet engine. Even at around 2700rpm though I can still hear its characteristic low rumble/whine above the other fans in my case - it is still much quieter than the other fans I've tested, but I'm considering getting a 3pin resistive fan cable to make it run even slower as I have a more or less silent build with 800rpm Scythe Slipstream case fans. For the Sabertooth assist fan you really only need a good 2000-2500rpm blowing there so all you really need is a nice quiet fan that will last - and this fan does a decent job.

Replaced Tivo Premier FanJun 12, 2011
By Michael I used this fan to replace the fan in a refurbished Tivo Premier. The original was making odd noises and sounded like it was going to die soon. Another person in a forum had recommended this model and so far it seems to be working great. Note that if you purchase this to use in a Tivo Premier that it will have one extra wire you don't need. Just make sure the red and black wires are connected the same way as the old fan.
