Coolerguys Cabcool802 Dual 80mm Fan Cooling kit for Cabinet or Home Theater setups
This is a complete kit for a dual fan unit (8.00" x 4.25" x 1.25") that will quietly cool your cabinet or multimedia center.
Includes our 2000ma CS 110v AC to 12v DC Power Supply for powering fan from standard wall outlet.
Can be mounted on any side of a cabinet, where room permits, by cutting a hole approximately 3/4" smaller on all sides of the outside bracket. Insert completed cooler assembly in hole and attach to cabinet with appropriate screws. Fans can be set to blow into or out of the cabinet depending on your needs. This is a great kit! I was impressed when I opened up the package. It had good instructions, and was easy to put together. The most difficult part was cutting the holes in the cabnet. It has been running for about a year now and still going strong. I was worried about buying this product because I thought if the fans went bad I could not replace them, but they are standard 80mm fans. I also installed 4 120mm fans and used the AC adapter to power them. This is great if you need 8 or more fans running at the same time. On my set up I have one Coolerguy 80mm Kit connected to 2 120mm fans on both sides of the enclosed cabinet and the tempature is about 80-85 degrees. All are running on the same AC adapter. The 120mm fans were a bulk purchase of 4 on Amazon for $15.

This has been a great product. I purchased the fixed thermal controller as well as a 4 series fan assembly as well with digital thermal controller. I had a problem with shipping when I purchased the thermal controller separately, but the seller re-sent a new one. One of the fans stopped turning on after about a month. I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement without question.
The products cool my cabinets really well. I have built in wood cabinets and wanted everything enclosed. I was able to use my Sawzall to make openings in the back where no one would see. It now vents through my wall and keeps my electronics very cool. Surprising what air flow can do for electronics. Definitely worth all the mess and effort.
The two fan assembly is installed in a built in cabinet in my bedroom just under the desk. No one can see they are even there. They are sincerely quiet and keep my MacBook Pro nice and cool all day and night long.
The fan assemblies are very easy to put together, it was making the holes in my cabinets that took some time to accommodate the fan assemblies.
One thing that would have been helpful is for the seller to include a cut out template with their instructions. Also it would be nice if they would include some kind of air filter with the fans.
