CabCool1202 Dual 120mm Fan Cooler Kit for Cabinet / Home Theaters w/Thermal Control
This is a kit for a three fan unit (17.7" x 6.25" x 1.25") that is meant to cool your cabinet or multimedia center.
Includes (3) Ultra quiet 120mm Fan.
Now with New Style - Fan Grills - Better Flow. Now with more space and larger holes between honeycomb grill.
Can be mounted on any side of a cabinet, where room permits, by cutting a hole approximately 3/4" smaller on all sides of the outside bracket. Insert completed cooler assembly in hole and attach to cabinet with appropriate screws. Fans can be set to blow into or out of the cabinet depending on your needs. Also includes a thermal controller. Built in thermal sensor. Controls power to your fans to cool when you need it. With external temperature probe wire for spot placement.

I have a little AV cabinet that held in all the heat from my PS3, xBox 360 and reciever. it caused the reciever to die and was a very costly repair. These fans make all the difference. They are very quite, you can hardly hear them running from 10 feet away, and the overall noise is very low, it does not bother you when they are on or take away fromt the vewing or gaming experience. They are thermistatically controlled to turn on and off at 80 degrees which makes sure they are only running when they are needed.

I was looking for a cabinet exhaust fan kit for my cabinet which includes Dish HD DVR and external USB Hard Drive in one shelf, PS3 with another external USB Hard Drive in another shelf of the cabinet with other components like audio receiver, dvd multi changer, dvd recorder in other shelfs of same cabinet.
Many times dish receiver switches itself off due to overheat in the cabinet. Similar problem with PS3.
I bought this CabCool1203 kit and installed in first shelf contaning dish hd receiver and usb hard drive. Although first I thought the assembly will be complex but it was so easy after watching the video on YouTube (and even with instruction that comes with kit). This product works perfectly. Fans comes on automatically as son as temperatures goes above 86F and switches off at 81F. Recommend it to everyone who has hard drive based electronics in the closed cabinets.
I am going to buy one more of these kits now for my PS3 shelf also.

I ordered the three 120mm kit and it has performed perfectly for what I am using it for. I have a compact enclosed A/V cabinet with a cable box, router, blue-ray and a large A/V receiver. My components were overheating badly, but since installing this kit it stays cool automatically. Between 81 and 86 degrees at all times. Highly recommended for this type of application.

I got this three fan kit with the thermal controller.
For starters, the instructions were included in the packaging. I've read that others weren't so lucky, but even still the instructions are also available on the website. So either way there were no problems there.
Next I put them together. This is where I gave them a star off. The fans have little plastic tubes on the corners where the screws go through. Most fans have these, but it makes it extremely difficult to thread the screws in without stripping them. Luckily I have experience with these types of fans so it was done with no errors. Just a hassle is all. The only thing I would change is to get fans without those tubes.
An alternative to the fans included here, is to just buy the three fan kit without the fans (ie., get the mounting kit and thermal controller and buy your own fans.)
The fans were very quiet and the thermal controller worked EXCELLENT. I tested it before I put them in at my client's home. I would squeeze the thermal controller with my fingers lightly, and they would instantly come on. As soon as I let go, they would turn off within seconds as the thermal readers cool off.
I'll be supplying my own fans next time...but I will definitely be buying the mounting kits and thermal controllers from these guys at Cabcool. The fans look great after installed properly.
