CabCool1202 Dual 120mm Fan Cooler Kit for Cabinet / Home Theaters w/Thermal Control
This is a kit for a two fan unit (13" x 6.25" x 1.25") that is meant to cool your cabinet or multimedia center.
Now with New Style - Fan Grills - Better Flow. Now with more space and largerholes between honeycomb grill.
Can be mounted on any side of a cabinet, where room permits, by cutting a hole approximately 3/4" smaller on all sides of the outside bracket. Insert completed cooler assembly in hole and attach to cabinet with appropriate screws. Fans can be set to blow into or out of the cabinet depending on your needs. Also includes a thermal controller. Built in thermal sensor. Controls power to your fans to cool when you need it. With external temperature probe wire for spot placement.

 Dual Fan cooling kitJul 11, 2010
Very quick shipping, good packaging. Only slightly difficult to install this on back panel of TV armoire cabinet. Product is quieter than I expected and I can feel the pull of air through the slightly open door (child locked). Good purchase.

Everyone knows that heat is bad for your electronic equipment. With these fans in place, my PS3's cooling fan has not kicked into overdrive once. I have been very satisfied with this product.
Perfect for home theater coolingMay 21, 2010
I purchased and installed this fan in a built-in cabinet that houses my home theater equipment. I use an Onkyo receiver and also have an Apple TV, both of which produce a lot of heat when they are operating. Once I added this fan with it's temperature sensor, I find that the cabinet stays nice and cool. The only time I can actually hear the fan operating is after I shutdown the theater equipment and it runs for a few minutes before the temperature is cool enough for the sensor to deactivate the fan. I am very happy with this kit; it seems to be well-designed.

I ordered a Cabcool 1202 from the Coolerguys for my home theater cabinet. It came very quickly and was easy to put together. You could not buy the individual parts for the price they are selling it for. I have a PS3 and an Xbox 360 which create a lot of heat. The fans only turn on when it gets over 87 degrees and when they are on they are very quiet. I would recommend this system to anybody looking to keep their consoles and home theater gear cool.

We just had a component cabinet made to match our existing furniture. The cabinet contains 2 Direct TV receiver, PS3 used as a Blu Ray Player and 1 yamaha receiver.
Had to leave the cabinet door open due to heat build up, especially with the PS3, it sounded like a jet taking off when it was in use.
This cooler fan kit was an easy install and wow it really does the trick, very quiet and the thermal control is the nuts. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have all audio/video components in an enclosed cabinet.
