A Blessing to Contol FreaksJan 16, 2009

This little fan controller is a great piece of gear. You install it in one of your external 5.25" bays and connect it to 4 fans. Then you can control how fast the fans run independently just by turning the knobs.
The lights are extremely bright (can be annoying to some people) and are helpful for having a visual representation of how your fans are running. The light is off when the fan is not running. Red means it is running between 1 and 50% power, and blue is for the 51-100% power.
This unit can have a tremendous effect on the noise level of your computer. When I am not doing any intensive activities like video editing or gaming I turn down several of the fans since they don't need to run full blast all the time.
